A Taste of Emerald Isle
a 14-year-old girl was jammed on the foot Wednesday evening while swimming off Emerald Isle, North Carolina. The teen may have ligament and tendon damage, but she will recover. There is no info on Shark species or no pictures, so instead here are some recently released pictures of a Shark jam that occurred on June 20th in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

Jennifer Cation, explains her injuries.

Yay, injuries!

Yay, more injuries!

You think we were kidding about the Shark bites?
Jennifer Cation was jammed on the leg on Friday morning while wading in chest-deep water off Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Fernandina Beach Fire Rescue Deputy Chief Jeffrey Bunch:
“(She was) in between waves in about chest-deep water when something came up and bit her leg right above her ankle,” Bunch said. “It was pretty severe, (the bite) appeared to be to the bone.”

The beach was never closed--sweet! There is also no word on the species...hmmmm...Bull Shark?
Since no pictures of the incident have been released we will have to show an unrelated leg jam. We seriously doubt Jennifer's was this bad:

We also doubt that her Shark "incident" was this cool:

Remember, the Shark jams will continue until the bullshit Shark fishing tournaments cease!

Unrelated Shark incident
A Shark jammed Juan Rodriques Galvao, a 14-year-old surfer, Wednesday off the coast of northeastern Brazil near Del Cifre Beach. The jam happened in an area that is off limits to bathers and surfers because of its Sharkiness. There have been 52 recorded Shark bites in the the state of Pernambuco since 1992 with 19 fatalities, and there are warning signs posted everywhere. Young Juan received a nice chomp to his left leg but he is expected to recover. There was no official details about the species of Shark, but we are betting Bull Shark. This jam happened just ten days and twenty miles north of a jam that took young Wellington dos Santos's right hand.

Unrelated left leg accident.

Acapulco, We Got a Shark Problem.

Two Shark incidents in two days off Mexico's Pacific coast--one dead Mexican, one American with a missing thumb--reprisals are likely. This makes the third Shark jam in the same area in a month.
The first jam was the first Shark related fatality in Pacific Mexico in over thirty years. The truly tragic thing about this is that given the ignorance of the local authorities off these beaches, there will probably be another Mexican Shark holocaust.
Friday's jam was the jammiest. Osvaldo Mata Valdovinos, a 21-year-old student was surfing near Zihuatanejo when a Shark chomped off one of his hands and took to nice chunks of his thigh. He bled out of his severed hand and foot-long hole in his thigh before help could arrive.

Today's jam involved a 49-year-old American surfer. Information is a bit more sketchy on this one, but this surfer apparently got his thumb bitten off. He will recover. There is no information as to which species of Shark or Sharks were involved in these parties...still, we are going with Tiger Shark. A Tiger Shark has the kind of teeth that are good for severing things. Further proof that local Mexican authorities are chumps--they claim that the first fatal jam, the one in late April that spelled the end for Adrian Ruiz, involved a Grey Reef Shark. Grey Reef Shark my ass.
