An unidentified 20-year-old man was towing his surfboard out to catch a wave off New Smyrna Beach at 3PM when he became SEVENTEEN! Volusia County Florida has now tied last year's tally of Shark bites. The Shark reportedly nipped his left foot and like most of New Smyrna's Shark jams, this one was also life threatening. Even so, the man was rushed off to Bert Fish Medical Center for his Shark debriefing.
