Newsflash! Fishing Kills Fish!
Fritz Van Der Grifd caught and killed what photographic evidence has shown is a Great Hammerhead Shark off Singer Island in Palm Beach County, Florida. Great Hammerheads are an endangered species. He claims that he didn't mean to kill the 13-foot, over-100-pound Hammerhead, and he only wanted to take its picture and it inadvertently died during the struggle.

Guess what, jackass? Getting hooked and struggling for an hour or so on the end of a line can take a lot out of you. There really is no such thing as catch and release. Many of the fish caught and then released die later of shock and fatigue.

Is this the picture you wanted to take douche?
If you just want to take a picture of a Shark go get a waterproof camera and a snorkel, tough guy. Sure you might end up like Markus Groh, but if you want to take pictures of Sharks this is a risk you might have to take. Real though guys get in the water with the Sharks.

The bulging eyes means it's cruel.
It is really too bad a fucking shame that there are no protections for Great Hammerheads, especially since they are an endangered species. Soon there may be no more Hammerheads left but big men like Fritz Van Der Grifd will have their lousy pictures.

Read more about it.
Please make the ignorance stop, Mommy!
