Holy Climate Change! Alligator Shot Dead in Milwaukee River!

Death often brings a smile to the face.
Want anymore circumstantial evidence for Climate Change? Here is is: 31-year-old Ed Long, shot and killed a 25-pound Alligator...in the Milwaukee River, in Wisconsin!

Uhhhh...Alligators are not native to Wisconsin...not even a little bit. It is sort of like finding a Polar Bear in Puerto Rico.

And because Alligators are Crocodilians, here is is 1.75 in a whenever-we-get-around-to-it series on the 2007 Red List of Endangered Species.
GHARIAL--Moved to Critically Endangered from Endangered. The Gharial is a Crocodilian that was once fairly abundant in India and Nepal. Gharials are losing out to dams, irrigation, and sand mining. The population has taken a dump, sinking from 436 in 1997 to 182 in 2006.

Soon there will be Polar Bears in Puerto Rico than Gharials in the Ganges.
Bringing smiles to your faces,
